This is a medium control, well balanced and attractive shank that will not pinch. We have added a performance mouthpiece. The first thing a horse notices is the port rotating away from the tongue. This cue can be very effective on a well trained horse. When the curb sets this mouth becomes more severe putting pressure on the outside corners of the bars for better control.
