Lifter design helps to increase leverage and shoulder control.  3 piece mouth offers additional leverage to the corners of the mouth to provide a lighter responsive feel.  This short lifter bit has a quick response time, making it a good choice for the advanced horse needing tuning or for competition. It's designed to help pick up the shoulder going into the turn, elevating the front end, and engaging the hind quarter for the turn. It gives more rate and break at poll to gather for the barrel.

Stage C bits are built for riders and horses who love neck reining. Horses who respond well to poll pressure are in Stage C. Features include solid mouthpieces and cheek attachments, and swivel cheeks with jointed mouthpieces or low to medium ports. Remember: start with the lightest bit possible and progress from there.
