This Rope Gag is made from 5/16" lariat rope, offering a responsive yet forgiving feel that enhances communication between horse and rider. The 7/16" mullen-style bar provides generous surface area for comfort across the bars of the mouth, while the 1" port relieves palate pressure and discourages the tongue from getting over the bit. The correction-style design remains comfortable in the mouth but firms up when engaged, delivering clear and effective communication. A full-ring side design prevents the bit from being pulled through the mouth, ensuring stability and consistency, while the lariat rope applies subtle poll pressure to encourage flexion and collection. A latigo ear keeps the rope securely positioned, and rubber sliding grommets allow for easy adjustment to achieve a precise, balanced fit on any horse.
