The Laramie has a swept back cheek and a tear drop loop at the rein, which provides a very forgiving and slower pull. The shanks features give a pre-signal for the horse when they feel the rein slide. This keeps the rider from having to engage as directly. The correction mouthpiece provides collection from the port, while the swivel encourages both flex and bend in the horses body. The copper rollers make this softer than a traditional solid bar and encourages saliva in the horses mouth.
