The unique central plate sits on the horse's tongue and prevents the horse from twisting their tongue around and eliminates the need for an additional tongue tie. Featuring a double jointed style mouthpiece this bit exerts a more even pressure over the horse's tongue and bars. The loose ring style cheekpieces helps to prevent the horse from leaning and bracing against the bit. This style bit is commonly used for racing, but may also be used by jumpers or eventers.
Features:
- Loose ring style cheekpieces
- Double jointed with spoon style mouthpiece
- Stainless Steel
- Ideal for horses with bit vices
- Eliminates the need for a separate tongue tie
Care Instructions: Always wash a bit after each ride. Remove from bridle and soak in hot water. Use small brush to remove residue. Dry with clean towel.
