Readily accepted by most horses, the Horze Apple Flavor Mullen Mouth Loose Ring Snaffle Bit is commonly used for green horses, or those with sensitive mouths.

This mild bit features a shaped mullen style mouthpiece with synthetic apple flavoring. This bit has a very stable feel in the horse's mouth and rests directly on the horse's tongue. Unlike jointed snaffles, this bit will not collapse when pressure is applied to the reins and instead offers even pressure along the length of the mouthpiece. The loose ring style cheek pieces encourages self carriage by the horse.

    Care Instructions: Always wash a bit after each ride. Remove from bridle and soak in hot water. Use small brush to remove residue. Dry with clean towel.
