Protection: The Arktis Extended Neck Lightweight Turnout Blanket has 100 grams of poly fiber fill inside, a tough, waterproof and breathable 1200 denier polyester outer fabric and is fully lined with a coat-friendly smooth poly taffeta lining. Its well suited for moderate days outside or mild evenings in the barn. The extended neck design acts like a shawl, as it goes over the withers and partially up the neck. This helps guard against wind and drafts and eliminates the need for an additional neck cover piece. An extra-large gusseted tail flap and the extended drop length add further protection against wind and other elements.

Durability: 1200 denier ripstop polyester fabric is tough yet still flexible. Rugged seat belt quality surcingles attach with stainless steel hardware. Polypropylene binding and a rubber reinforcement at the top of the gusset add an extra level of longevity. The removable tail cord is covered in plastic for easy-care cleaning and extended life.
