The Total Comfort System in Cavallo's performance enhanced Western Barrel/Endurance/Stock Saddle Pad features 3 layers: shock-absorbing, closed-cell, high-density foam, slow-release open-cell memory foam, and 100% New Zealand Merino Wool. The 3 material densities create a thinner pad with greater shock absorption than a pad twice as thick. Allows more room for free movement of the scapula. Shaped to horse's top line, allowing ample wither space. Memory foam ensures that pressure and weight are not continual, but yielding. Excellent for all sports requiring lateral flexion. Maximum defense against back pain, yet still thin to maintain feel.

avallo's Tri-Density Solution, combined with fine finishing details including genuine leather butt joints, nylon bindings and aeration perforations, provides the ultimate in saddle pads benefitting both horse and rider. Tri-Density Solution absorbs shock and concussion from both horse and rider saving both backs. Improves saddle fit. Features firm poly fiber sheets inserted alongside the protective memory foam to provide the perfect fit between horse and rider. Contracts at pressure points and fills gaps. Enhances the saddle gullet (protecting spine). Cutback allows wither relief. Allows one saddle to be used on multiple horses and compensates for changes in a horse's back over its lifetime.
