Colostrum given during the first 12-24 hours of life helps kick-start the newborns immune system. Encourages appetite and nursing. Gives added assurance that each newborn has protection for a healthy start. Ideal for orphaned newborns, large litters or when mothers milk is not available.
Directions: Orally administer as soon after birth as possible. Kittens - 1 ml; Puppies - 2 ml. When moms milk is not available, give newborns 3-4 doses in first 24 hours. Refrigerate after opening.
