The shank is swept backbut with a slightly lesser degree than the 6" version and sooffers the rider moreleverage and control.This bit offers plenty of leverage for control at increased speeds.

When engaged the low port mouthpiece provides tongue relief as slight pressure is applied to the bars of the mouth and the palate. Each side works independently from the port for increased lateral flexion. The roller barrel helps keep nervous horses busy and promotes salivation..
