No, not a bad question. I remember panicking the first time I saw a horse eat a coconut leaf. They don't eat much of it. The usually eat the center where the new leaf comes up but the thing is if they are allowed to do that, they can easily kill the tree. So they are stuck snacking on old touch leaves or else they get chased away.They know now not to eat the center...at least not when Im in sight.
