Made this last night and it was pretty easy and very well-received by the whole family :)  We love Indian food!!
 
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
1 1/2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken thighs (I used tenderloins)
1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
2 tsp. minced ginger
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
 
Mix together all ingredients except chicken, then spread all over chicken, put on a plate or bowl and marinate in fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
 
4 large, sweet onions, sliced thinly
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 1/2 tsp. cumin
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
 
Saute onions in olive oil with spices for about 20 minutes.  Add chicken broth if it gets too dry.  Add broth and lemon juice.
 
Broil chicken 6 inches from heat until cooked through.  Serve over onions with rice or couscous.  Enjoy!
