Dutch oven ribs
  • We go camping a lot in the summer and this is one of my favorites to cook.

Couple spare ribs, cut between each bone or every other bone.
     Salt and pepper to taste.
    Med sweet onion sliced thick
Sweet baby rays honey barbaque and regular BBQ sauce
    Couple dashs Washishire sauce
Small amount of sweet wine, red or white either one.
small amount of water as needed

Cut spare ribs and salt and pepper.  Cut onions and layer BBQ sauce, Ribs and onions in that order till Dutch oven is full.  Add washishire sauce and wine over the top.  Might have to add a bit of water during the cooking process.  Place oven over the evenly spread coals, (I like to use charcoal for even heat).  Place about 8 brickets on top of the oven as well and turn lid and oven seperate directions every half hour or every hour.  Let cook for 3 to 4 hours for some really tasty and fall off the bone ribs.

Its really easy and tastes great!!  If you like garlic on your ribs I have added that in as well but like to add it closer to the end of the cooking process or seems like that is all you taste.  Happy eating!!!
