• rlassbuck Posted : 2/18/2010 10:18:38 PM My Uncle Mark always does this when we go fishing for trout.   He cleans the trout, but doesn't skin it or anything else.  He then fills it with either mustard or Italian dressing and wraps it in tin foil and sticks it over the fire.  It's done pretty quick, but of course that depends on your fire![]  It's awesome. • AllieBaba Posted : 2/21/2010 3:38:21 PM A good salmon recipe that would work on trout:   Rub lots of pepper on either the top or inside the salmon (it should be almost black) Stick in lots of sliced onion Lots of sliced lemon wrap in foil Cook until done   The onions and pepper get rid of any strong fishy taste, and the result is really juicy, really excellent fish.
