This is not always popular for some (puts on body armour), but works.
I went through this with my two geldings. DROVE ME NUTS!!!!!!!!!! I was lucky that when I was working one that one would behave for the most part, but the other would act like a nut job. No problem. They got tied, inside where they couldn't see what was going on. When the horse I was riding would pay attention to the one having a tantrum they worked HARD until they focused back on me. Once that happened they were rewarding with stand still or just walking casually. As soon as I was done the one having the tantrum in the stall was brought out and WORKED!!!! Until they focused on me and stopped the fusing. I had to do this with both my Sr. horse and the younger one. They figured it out pretty quick.
