    i have a 6 year old paint Quarter horse/thougobred and he used to attack me,wouldn't obey,no respect,couldn't lunge him,without him attackin' me,ect.and i turned to Clinton anderson's tecnique's in one of his books,and after that,he now has respect 'n all.love it!YES,HE EVEN LUNGE'S WITH RESPECT,TOO,WITHOUT HIM TRYING TO KILL ME!!!!!!!!!!i would totally recondmend clinton anderson's tecniques/books.

    hi, crazy, i am new here, this is my first reply- thanks for the info. i shall check these books out. i have a mare and 4 month old colt.  she had some  problems when i got her and she needed some training and calming. on a grand scale to some she probably has"nt  made a lot of progress. but my husband and myself can see she has come far. due to needing foot care, pregnancy and now weaning  i have never rode her in the yr i have had her. not sure she"s been ridden before but will find out. anyway she has regressed of her respect and training from where she was due to me letting her go when she was close to foaling and now having the colt. plus i have a new job that does"nt allow me as much time w/her as before. so i need some retraining here to get her back to respecting us agin. thanks for the info.annie234.
