Saddle pad search

• samsara Posted : 10/8/2009 5:58:29 AM I'm looking for a saddle pad to use under my western saddle.  The saddle is 27" long and 26"wide.  I'll probably be selling the saddle but I would like a pad I can keep for many years.  I don't like fleece on the bottom and I'm not very keen on gel pads.  I like felt the most but I'm also open to foam or neoprene pads too.  I'd like to keep it in the $100 range (preferably less).  Since Reidar has no withers I'd like to keep it as thin as possible but since the saddle I currently have isn't a perfect fit I would like one that also offers a lot of support and cushion.  Any suggestions? Its slightly contoured to fit along a horses natural curvature of the spine. Its a very nice saddle pad, I can't use it because my horse is too little. I needed to get a size 28 in length saddle pad for him. I do have pics if you would like to see the pad. I am asking $50 plus shipping.
