Ok, I have to brag
  • I HATE to excercise, but I love food and need to lose weight..........

So ordered Slim in 6 and have been very good about doing it, even on days that I ride.  I am trying to not count horse stuff as my excercise time.

I like it because it is not boring and keeps changing.  Goal is 20 lbs...........

I am sore, but keep going.
Any ideas on how to keep it up will be appreciated.
  • Hmmmm....
I say, learn to see the value in depriving yourself.
Then be PROUD of your will power!
Make your family suffer with you!
Tell your least favorite inlaw what you plan to do.
Pretend you have an illness and stay in bed reading when you'd usually eat.
OVERSLEEP.  (if you're not awake you won't be tempted)
Go to fashion shows.  Those skinny skanks will tick you off so much - and maybe some of the anorexia will rub off - at least for 6 days.
Wear tight pants.  Even if it turns hubby on.
Imagine how much hubby will enjoy the new "hot" you!
Plan your wardrobe for the end of 6 days when you can take hubby out and tease the heck out of all those men who are drooling over you and hubby will be so proud he'll buy you anything you want.
I can't think of anything else.  OH
    THINK THIN!!!!
  • Once you do it often it will become a habit, and then it will be easier to have the willpower to say "no" to the extra food. You'll get accustomed to exercising and it will also become easier. You can do it!!!
  • My goal is 20 as well.................
  • I'm working at it too. I keep candy around for my teachers so have taped a piece of paper with the size I want to get down to on the file drawer where I keep it. This reminds me of my goal and I stay out of it. I've also put healthy snacks in places where I used to keep the junkier food.
  • I have been good at making time for my workouts.  When I know I can't do the full hour I do what I can and sqeeze it in.  I keep healthy snacks in my drawer at work.  I was really proud of making over 100 bags of candy chocolates for school and NOT eating one.  I only stole 2 of the waffers that I melt.

Hardest part is eating out- and not over eating.  I just figure out how much I am going to take home and push that off to the side before I start.
  • LMBO!!!! hunter those were great!!!
i love to work out and exercise its so much fun and you dont even have to do the boring go to the gym do your normal work out get a whole bunch of friends and go play tennis or volleyball or whatever for 30 minutes that will get your to your 20 pound goal and you will build muscle while doin it! and i dont care what anyone says riding a horse is exercise! i'd like to see one of those people who go the the gym everyday saddle a 17 hand horse and ride him through the barrels or poles then take out a rope and turn 20 head...in the wind!
    good luck guys!!!
