I saw Connie's post that said she does animal rescue so I thought anyone who is doing any kind could post about it.
I'm on an email list and get LOTS of pleas for help. I participate in the network when I can but I'm filled to capacity. I've gotten Maggie the Dane and Major the minpin like that. Sugar and T-Bear were strays(as was Judas, son's Yellow Lab), Max and Charlie (son's GSD) were a pound puppies, Caramel was a tail rescue (it was due to be lopped off), Hershey, a rescue of sorts. I think that's all the dogs.

3 pound kitties plus several more.... Can't put my hands on the cat picture at the moment.

We have a few rescues here. First is Miss Cleo - a cat I found on my door step back in college. She is still with me and rules the roost. Next is Jester, my husbands cat, who came from HOPE safehouse in WI about 7 years ago and then Lily the bengal mix I am currently fostering for the Great Lakes Bengal Rescue. I tend to foster when I can for them or provide transport. Oh, Apache, our draft cross, was out of a rescue. He was an orphan nursemare foal and we adopted him through a local rescue when he still needed milk replacer.

Now that I think of it - Willow our dog is also from the shelter. Then we get lots & lots of kitty drop offs around here. I've got 2 females right now that are next on the spay & release list - just need to get the money to get them done.
