Mother's/Gary's OK day with my family.  Back row is my brother-in-law, my sister, my dad, his wife, me, Gary, bottom row, my niece, Kelly, nephew, Caitlyn and Shaylea plus Princeton and Brody.  So rare we're all together so nice to get a picture of all of us. • danastark Posted : 7/20/2011 5:27:59 PM Thank you all!  My sister and I got different sides of the gene pool.  My dad is kind of olive-skinned and his mom was petite and my sister got that.  My mom's side was tall and blonde/blue eyes and I got that, except w/ green eyes.  Kelly kind of got the olive-skin and the other two got the blonde, green-eyed side.  Funny how genetics works, huh?  My hubby says my sister and I don't look alike but have similar mannerisms.   We got really lucky with my stepmom after my mom passed.  She's not much like my mom, , petite, not into horses but does love animals and she is such a wonderful person, took my girls on as her grandkids and is so kind and takes good care of my dad LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
