Woke up to no water this morning. Walked up the hill and fired up the well pump. Still no water. Got in the Crummy and headed up the hill to check the water level in the tank. It was three quarters full. Turns out a joint popped off and cut everything off. Took five minutes to fix that and water restored. I'm still wondering how the pressure is so weak. There has to be some kind of blockage in the line.
I drove over the hill and had a look at the backside of the property. The utility company has made a mess of the road, but at least cleared the detritus of the fire off it. I was surprised to see that George never cleared both roads back there. Pity that.
Well, I have the front clip off the old '58 and am going to prep the motor for removal today. Likely remove it tomorrow. I have a choice of a 472 out of a Motorhome or a 350. Will likely go with the smaller motor. However the larger is tempting for it's towing ability. Except it's set up with an automatic. That opens quite another can of worms...
Well, I hope every one has a great Friday the thirteenth!
EDIT:
Well, I was lazy and didn't get much of anything done today. Just played all day on the net. Will have to get myself in gear tomorrowl The Truck has to get done! However, between my two passive aggressive roommates, I'll have to dig the motor out tomorrow. Boy, That's going to take some doing all by itself!
