Well, today not so great a day. Lots of pain resulting from pushing too hard to get the engine in the car yesterday. My annoying back is at it again. May be Friday before I can get back to it. In the meantime I do things like... dishes. Oh... joy and ecstasy!
The kittens continue to be more friendly every day. One sits patiently just off the table whilst her mother joyfully gorges herself on kibble and purrs whilst being petted. The black cat, who has been wild as a March Hare up till now, is sitting on Phantom's perch by the window and watches me when I am on the computer. She's even allowing me to pet her a bit whilst she eats! The kittens (Phantom's I think) try to join her, at the window perch, and she chases them off. So they climb on top of George's Land Rover and preen in the warm sun, whilst still keeping an eye on Blackie and I. Lots of kitties around here! Shortly after I arrived on Monday, while exiting the house, Phantom ran up and grabbed my leg. I closed the door and started to pet her. She stood up and embraced my hand, rubbing her head on it. I think she may have missed me. Did that several more times over the last three days. She's turning out to be a very nice kitty.
Well, dishes done and draining. Will bring them back to my coach tomorrow. Not up to it tonight. I hope everyone else has a great day tomorrow. Pain-free I hope.
