made it through another polar event.
But not unscathed as usual.

Pipe busted at cattle trough, Pilot fixed it.
And worse a thermo cube failed and the pump house froze at DaneHaven.
Still waiting for the well man to fix that.
We are hauling water for drinking and flushing as my Dad lives there.

The weather is suppose to warm to the 70's this weekend.
A ride or 2 is a must.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Had a good Christmas, went to PA. Drive up was not fun due to the weather system, but temps stayed above 32 for the drive. Much of the planned events up there got changed as my wife's sister's husband got COVID. Christmas Eve and Day events got cancelled as they were the ones hosting those events.

Brother-in-law in SC managed to follow my directions, had to write a manual with pictures, on how to keep the water pipes in the barn from busting. It got down to 12 here in SC. I was impressed, no broken pipes. I have a thermo cube and a failure has always scared me. Also fear that the GFCI outlet that powers the thermo cube will fail. I have a nightlight in the outlet so I can see at a distance whether the power is on. The light also is visible in one of the security cameras. I have 2 heat lamps in the well in case one fails.
