get feed suddenly has become a struggle..
Pilot went to get feed.
I had a busy day and he had another errand.
I use alfalfa pellets for everyone
And I add half mare and foal for the old guys.
Feed mill no longer carries alfalfa pellets.
Found them at the new local place for an additional $6 per 50 pound bag!
Also all the alfalfa squares are full of some kind of sticker weed.
I returned the 2 I purchased because I was covered in stickers just from unloading them.
Luckily they had 3x3 bales that they assured me were good.
I have to break them apart to unload them but was worth it to have something to feed the 2 horses that are on alfalfa exclusive.
Good grief, I hope everyone is having better luck than me these days.
