Bloody Nose

• Bluecourage Posted : 8/12/2009 4:32:20 PM Hey guys.  What could a recurring bloody nose mean for a horse. My gelding is 21 years old. He keeps getting these bloody noses. The vet has put a scope up his nose 2 or 3 times. Apparently horses have these little tumor-like things in their noses and he seems to think that one might have busted but nobody seems to be real sure. It's been going on for a while. For fourth of july weekend he got an abcesses in his foot so we had to bring him in and the medication seemed to be making it worse so we took him off of it recently. I can't put him back in the field until we can control this. Any help?
