RIP, Otis. 10/20/2007 - 1/28/2012. I went in with Otis for the euthanasia and they allowed me to sit a while with him afterward. It brought back a flood of the memories and feelings of sitting with my husband in that little room off the ER while his body cooled and I waited for the funeral director.
