That's just a suggestion. I have a blind horse who was probably losing his vision gradually since I got him. On trail rides he would pass close to the trees and nearly scrape your legs off. That was a sign I missed. Then, when things got really bad for him I rode him and he would hardly move. I put a neighbor kid up behind me and that was it. He wasn't going to budge. I got off and walked him home, thinking there was a leg problem but his halting steps were because he couldn't see where he was placing his feet. Now that he can't see at all, his head is up and those ears are always alert, listening. He's in a safe place, though.
How old are you, Macie? Are you an adult? Just wondering. A vet can look in his eyes and tell, probably. Do you see any cloudiness or red (blood) in his eyes? Has he ever had EPM?
