I purchased Clinton Anderson's Fundamentals DVD Set during his Black Friday sale for $266. Awesome deal considering it's normally $600 for non-members. Being pretty new to horses I also purchased his Horsemanship 101 DVD Set. I've been volunteering at a horse rescue every Saturday for the last few months. I've always loved horses but just recently started working with and around them. I've never found something I enjoy doing more, wish I had found it sooner! Anyways I've learned alot volunteering at the rescue but want to learn more so that's why I bought the DVD sets.
My husband is Air Force and we are currently stationed at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, FL. We are trying to get orders to Texas so we can buy a house with land so I can get a horse of my own. For now I'm going to continue to volunteer at the rescue to learn more about training and riding horses.
Sorry to ramble on, my question is, being that I only goto the rescue on Saturdays, if I'm working with a horse for such little time a week will they catch on to what I'm teaching them or will they forget? I know it would be more effective to work with them more often but the rescue is an hour away and don't have time to go more than once a week.
Also has anyone else used Clinton's DVDs?
Thanks!
