I couldn't afford to buy a set of Gypsy tails, so i ordered synthetic hair and made my own!! I sold some to the local girls who barrel race and do game shows, and can't wait until spring so I can see everyone with their colorful horses!! let me know what you think!!! BTW- The Handsome studly man in the pics is my boy Joey who will be runnig his first season of barrels this summer and is going to kick butt!!

Gosh, I just used 1/4" satin ribbon. Used to buy it by the spool. Then again, we seemed to have braided up our horses more. Kept their tails in a (nylon stocking) snood. LOL, my fiance' (later my wife) was shocked when she found out I used to buy new stockings for the horses! She supplied me with used after that, I'd just trade her the new ones. LOL, I told her once that I'd wear them first (as a joke) except they just didn't have any in my size!
