• studeclunker Posted : 12/10/2012 5:07:34 AM Here's a few pics of Socks in his new house: Here he's introducing himself to the cute neighbor girl. Here's a good picture of all three of my horses: Socks (foreground), Rivermud, uh, I mean, Riverdance, and Condessa.  Funny how perspective works.  He's the smallest of the three, yet he looks larger here.  They're all about fifteen feet or so apart in this shot. Ah, his house.  The evil, scary, tarp-thing! He got used to it today.  I moved his hay net to the opposite side next to the gate and Socks walked right up to dig in.  He didn't even flinch.  Took him a day to acclimate to it though. • Connie Posted : 12/10/2012 10:33:00 AM Glad to hear Socks is settling in.  Stude, I sent you an email about a Hackney horse.  Did it make it through cyberspace to you? Pouring rain here.  All critters are fed, however, there is a cat who is tempting me not to let him reach his 17th birthday by sitting on the table and tapping my shoulder to let me know he wants more breakfast. Dad-blamed microwave died last night.  We have our old one still, but there was a reason we replaced it, just can't remember what it was....   The weather guy just said we should have snow tomorrow morning.  Ah, beautiful Central New York State...if you don't like the weather, give it a few hours or a few days, and it will change. Slept a little better last night but Hubby said I still coughed. Have a great day, everyone.
