This is an old picture taken last year. Well a series of pictures. Just wanted to share...I was running around with Sahara. She got carried away and the poor thing took a nose dive and tumble. I did see her trip and I turned to my friend (holding the camera) and laughed *see how much I care for my horse

* But had no clue she was tumbling behind me. She had scrapped her knees and minor abrasions on her body. Remember she didn't enjoy being cleaned up. She really reminds me of a toddler. How they get embarrassed after they fall.http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz264/Creztina/epicfail.jpg

Love the captions! I found that if I clicked on one, the whole group got bigger... Horses certainly can be more than just "beasts of burden".

You're a good slave! Bravo! I've seen that look before, the "did anyone see me do that?" look. What's priceless is when they're acting bad, running around and fall. Zag did twice in one day. It was as if God slapped him and he just went over "WHOMP". The ground shook.
I think with Dani she got tangled up in her filly legs. I think she takes turns more carefully now.
ETA: really enjoyed that!

Thanks,She hasn't really learned her lesson just yet. Haha. Hunterseat, the ground shook? That must have been quiet a fall. I have witnessed all of my fall. Frisky practically did a somersault. Hidalgo went for a whole out body flip. He is the worst. He manages to slide 5 feet each time. Amazing they don't get seriously hurt right? And their ability to defy gravity. O.o

Cintillate-just had to tell you that I love your profile picture! When I first saw it, one word came to mind-BLISS! The look on your face says it all!

Horses seem to know when they do something smart also as they can get a look on their face that says, " Aren't I something!". They are so expressive. You just have to be in tune with them.

Thanks for the comment. Horses are very expressive although my parents don't think so lol. Now you go me looking at your picture. Is that foal a cremello?
