It was great being able to ride Breezy again. This was only our second ride in 3 years as a result of 1. a hoof injury, 2. the damaged shoulder, 3. my family not wanting me to go out alone. I was a little concerned that her shoulder would give her some trouble but she was rearing to go, literally! The old girl pulled some stunts she hasn't done since she was two, and that was 20 years ago!! The neighbors cows are very friendly. They are owned by a cattle geneticist. These cows are never "rounded up", he just calls to them and they follow him. They are Angus but used to produce breeding stock. Just one of them is worth more that anything I own. Anyway, it was a beautiful day for a ride.
