Best Friends - Cuteness overload!
  • I thought some of you might enjoy these pics of Rascal and Krillin that I took a couple weeks ago. I was working on Rascal's mane trying to get burrs out when the kitten decided to join us. Enjoy. :D
  • That is THE cutest thing!!!  LOVE it!!!  Rascal looks great!!
  • Thanks! He really is coming along and I can't wait to start him under saddle next spring.
  • Great pictures.  Love kitties and horses when they get along.  You certainly found a diamond in the rough when you found Rascal.  He looks GOOD now that he is polished.
  • CUTE! What a patient horsie. [':)']
  • Oh my gosh those are the cutest pics ever! Your horse has a beautiful face. Love it!
  • Oh he looks so good Jess!!!  What's his age now?  So you think 1/2 Haff?  [':D']
eta: he looks very honest!! Just a real pleasant guy.
  • We believe around 2.5 now, but his front teeth are still babies.

Not sure if he is half haffie or not - I keep waffling on that.  Sometimes I think I can see haffie traits and then other times I don't think I see any.  Couple things for sure - he has a completely different nature than my haflinger and he has way more wither!

He is very honest and pleasant.  Just an all around "yes ma'am" type of horse.  I can't wait to start him under saddle because as long as he keeps this up Toby might end up being more of a pasture pet.  Toby is such a dominate and opinionated horse and sometimes I just get so tired of fighting with him - especially when we are up in the hills and he decides he wants to check out and go off his own way because he thinks its easier.  When Toby is good he can be excellent but watch out when he gets a bug up his butt.
  • Ah! Sounds like Toby is in fine health!  He sounds more like a Rascal! Is your blue one Apache?  How's he doing?
(honestly you'd think we could pick up the phone) [':D']
