• samsara Posted : 6/21/2011 12:19:38 AM Took Reidar to Mandan, ND for 3 days of trail riding.  We went with my bro's GF, S. The group was about 14 women of all ages.  The first day we went 9 miles, second day was about 6, and the last day I'm not sure how far we went but we were out for 5.5 hours.  The first two days I rode english but the third day we borrowed a western saddle because Reidar had lost too much weight and his girth didn't fit him anymore!  (I NEVER would have thought that would happen) These pictures are from the last day.  I'll post more as I get them. This is S's view from her horse Midas Missouri River (very flooded) So many hills! The driveway was so steep the horses had to be ponied to the bottom of the hill and loaded there.  This is Reidar, Midas, and Toby on their way to the trailer.
