Those are wonderful pictures! I love all your horses but Apache has always really gotten my attention. How big is he now? Toby looks like the alpha. He's such a great horse! He looks so good, Jessie! He's really moving well, isn't he? Rascal looks great!

I'm not sure how big Apache is. When I measured him this past spring he was 15.2 hands - but he may have grown more.

Toby is most definitely Alpha - especially now that Willie is gone. He is moving great, but slow with all that extra blubber right now. He is my baby. ':)'

Rascal is doing well and I think gets cuter and cuter by day. ':)'

LOL - trust me - with a haflinger, if there is a will, there is a way. However - with how humid and hot it has been, I haven't even had it on him the last couple days for fear of overheating him. It was funny when I first put it on him, he actually walked over to the tallest section of weeds and nudged them a few times and looked back at me with big sad eyes as if saying "See mom, I can't even eat these weeds...What are you doing to poor me?"

if he is out at night maybe you should put it on in the evening
than take it off in the mornings.
