• hunterseat Posted : 1/3/2010 4:17:54 PM There is so much similarity between dressage and some of the western moves.  I'm sure it will benefit you and your horse!  I recently took a couple of dressage lessons and it's really eye opening.  I wasn't on my horse, though.  I think there's a definate "aha" moment there.  You should take a lesson on a dressage horse to let the horse show you what the results of your efforts are supposed to look like.  I think you'd pick it up quicker and be a better teacher for Fancy. I hope you get some pics in the future!  I'm really dying to get my round pen set up.  I have everything I need but my redneck neighbors (whom I love dearly) need to come dig post holes for me.  I'm doing a 60ft.
