New job!

I hope they allow you to work from home. I was able to do that in my last job. Got a lot done without all the office interruptions. I sure do miss it some days.

lol.....I will be taking orders by phone from customers, the place I will be working at is a call center that takes many calls from several stores (online orders).....I will be taking calls for PetsMart!  I think I will really like it. It is a huge step away from the medical office work I've done, but the last couple of medical office jobs I had were so terrible (and only part time), so this may be a nice change for me.  A freind of mine used to work at this place, and she told me she really liked it there.  I'll let you know how it goes, I'm excited!

So, how did your first day of work go? Think you're going to like the new job?

Here I am finally, I was pretty wiped out last night, then got a very long phone call and never was able to get on here.  Today was day two of the new job and so far I love it.....woo hoo!  The people are so nice there, and the cool thing is that they had a lot of people come back to work there who used to be seasonal temps last year, they all liked it enough to want to come back....there are 24 of us in training, and we all got hired on permanently (some full time, some part time), thank God, I needed a good job so bad and I didn't want to deal with temp jobs any more.  I'm still not making as much as I did at my last full time job, but this is a good start and I will finally have health insurance and benefits. 

I do still have my red roan girl.....sort of.....because of losing my full time job last fall, I opted to not buy her, but I am leasing her now, and if I feel like I can take on the expense again, I do have the option of buying her back.  I got pretty sick last winter, and this spring too, so I had a hard time getting out to work with her.....so a lease is better for me right now until I get back on my feet better. 

Great news about the job and such a good fit too.  I hope you enjoy it... Good sign that there are 24 in your class and all got permanent jobs.  Yeah - sounds like the company is in good shape.  Go get em gal.
