I put a wreath on the main barn door, I made a Christmas pattern "curtain" for my horse shelf, I put Christmas cards on the push pin board with all my animals names on them (rabbits, sheep, goats, and of course, horses) and other little things up around the inside of my barn. • hunterseat Posted : 12/4/2011 12:36:09 PM Back up there, missy.  You can't do this to us.  We must have pictures!!  Actually I was about to start a thread about Christmas decor when I saw this.  Yesterday I heard a guy say he has 8 Christmas trees up in his house.  3 in the living room.  One in each kids' room (they're 19 and 17 [] ) Anyway, let's post pictures!  I won't have mine up for a time but I can certainly enjoy seeing everyone elses.   My "barn" is a metal work shop.  However you've inspired me - I might do a little something....  I really plan to clean really well before decorating but I have lots of big pine trees I could make greenery from. • danastark Posted : 12/4/2011 5:20:03 PM I don't have a barn, so no but they do get special goodies on Christmas.  I have this recurring wish every year that we'll take a Christmas photo with us and the horses...... maybe this year?   We usually buy a live tree for in the house but they cost sooooo much at Christmas and aren't usually the most pretty trees, plus we discovered they charge $10 a tree after Christmas compared to $60 so I think we're getting a nice Douglas fir or something like that and then buying some live trees in January   We have several years worth of trees planted on our property   Need to put lights up on them. Gosh I didn't know that real trees cost so much, that is too bad. We have a lovely 7 foot tree for the house, artificial, but gorgeous when all decorated.
