Take me out to the ball game!!!

    I Just got home from a late ball game. Charles, my grandson and light of my life, will be 10 on Sunday and they had a make up game at 8:15 tonight. It was more exciting than Major league. No strutting or tempers flaring,,, Just a bunch of kids who love the game and have a blast playing it!! Charles had two triples, a single, and a walk and pitched two innings!! He did good!!! (I didnt breathe those two innings)[:-]
    They won 18 to 2 . So much fun to watch them!!And it is even better when they win!!![;)]So every Wednesday night finds me at the ball park rooting for my favorite team!![:D]

    Fall baseball league? The kids around here usually only play ball in the last spring and early summer. Charles is growing up to be quite a handsome young man. Looks like he is pretty serious about baseball. How fun!
     
    We need to find a place to meet up sometime half way between your house and mine, where we could ride with our grandkids. Jazmin just turned 9 and I am sure she would love to be able to ride along side Charles. Does he like girls or is he still at the "girl hating" stage? Do you think you could get your gaited horses to slow down, so our old pokey quarterhorses could keep up?

    Charles goes to a very small town school. Only one room for each grade so if you dont like your teacher, you better learn to!LOL> He just kind of acts like girls are invisible,[';)'] but that will change later on, I am sure.[':)']
     Would love to meet up with you, Elaine. Cay gets antsy going slower, but he can do it!!Would love to get together!![':)']
     Dont have shoes on Dandy right now as Charles is really into baseball and practice.Their summer coach asked them if they wanted to play Fall Ball and of course, they did, so he signed them up with a league in a town about 25 miles from him to play ten games on Wednesdays! He is really a great guy and great with the kids. Their school doesnt have football or soccer... Just baseball and basketball so really good for the kids! He stayed all night Friday and I took him to practice Sat. He is such a joy to be around and so much fun! Really blessed and so glad he enjoys being with me. He is growing up so fast and I know these days wont last forever so I am thankful for each one!!

    I picked Charles up from School Friday and we went to KFC
      Charles and His buckeyes!!

    Oh wow!  Are they still good luck if someone gives them to you and you don't find them?  You could do little Christmas stockings and put one in each! (I'll email you my address. [':D'] )
