Yeah, what Hunter said goes for me, too.
Just remember that you can not be too careful when out on the road and always, always watch out for the other guy. Keep your doors locked! If you have car trouble, never, ever stop on the side of the road if you can avoid that, but always try to go to a well lighted, open business. Even if you are rear ended or in an accident, don't get out of your car and if you are still able to drive your car, drive to a safe area. Always be aware of your surroundings. I say all of this, because a young girl who lived in our part of the state, was rear ended one night. She stopped on the side of the road, actually on an interstate highway ramp. There was a gas station within site, but she didn't go to it. The guy who rear ended her, kidnapped her, then raped and killed her. Yes, I am trying to scare you. You need to be scared. Better safe than sorry. Never talk on your cell phone or text while driving! Leave your cell phone in your pocket. Don't leave it in your purse. If you are in a wreck and your cell phone is in your purse, your purse might go flying into the back seat. If you are injured and can't move, you need to have your cell phone where you can get to it.
I am a mommy, too. [

On a brighter note, congratulations on passing your driving test! I am sure you will do fine.
