You're so high the ground looks like a map, and I'm not looking out the windshield with the ground coming at me during take off and landing. • danastark Posted : 9/23/2011 12:08:51 AM Hubby passed his pilot's exam today so he is officially a pilot.  Not sure whether to be happy about that.  I'm happy for him because it makes him happy but he wants me to go flying w/ him on Sunday.........   He called me and was heading to the airport where his plane is to take it out and fly. • danastark Posted : 9/24/2011 1:08:23 AM Somehow as I got older and became a parent, flying in a small plane became something that wasn't on my "to do" list.  When I was a kid living in AK, we had to fly in small planes to get to the next major city airport or to go across the bay to compete against another school, didn't give it a second thought but now........   We're seeing Elton John in Vegas in October and he wants to fly us there too.........
