Our regional Pony Club leader meeting was today and it was held at Glen Ivy Hot Springs which is a great place about 20 minutes from me. Never been before but I'm a fan now!! We had a 2 hr. meeting, the region paid our entry fee in as a thank you for our efforts during the year as unpaid leaders/slaves, etc. and then we got to spend the rest of the afternoon lounging in the many saline pools, pools, hot tubs, mineral baths, mud baths, saunas and lounging and reading or napping!! They have great spa food too. It was so relaxing!! Hubby took the kids to see Star Trek and another scary movie I didn't want to see...... not sure I would've taken them but since I wasn't there and they appear not to be traumatized, guess I won't worry about it!! Came home to a note saying they were at the movies and would bring home dinner! Even better...... spent some time gardening, feeding the horses, neatening up the house and settled down with my book to attempt to read AND stay awake and they came home 5 minutes later! We're hosting another movie night by the pool, watching "Marley and Me." Gary's got his popcorn popper going.
