• studebaker Posted : 8/24/2021 6:48:35 PM And beautiful cornflower blue skies.  There is only a hint of smoke smell here in Oak Run.  Looks to be a beautiful day here in the neighborhood. The McFarland fire is now 20% contained and Hayfork seems to have survived yet another fire on its doorstep.  Douglas City and Weaverville were spared (so far) from any serious damage and Fawn Lodge escaped without anything other than smoke.  So, it's looking good on both sides of the Northern Valley this morning. We got spoiled this summer with the cooler temps and extra rains. Everyone have a good week.
