Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas.

1 inch of rain yesterday followed by a serious cool down.

New tradition for Christmas Eve, Homemade Crab Cakes.

Turkey today.

Woke up to 51 degrees and rain Christmas morning.  By breakfast it was 41 and a steady decline all day.  Down to 17 this morning.  

Christmas was pleasant but quiet.  Went to see my oldest son and his family the day before Christmas and got to spend a little time with them.

By afternoon chore time Christmas day no snow.  By this morning...a dusting to an inch.

Made a great ham dinner and now have so much left over ham.  Thankful for my vacuum sealer...Meals to be packaged and in the freezer.

Heavy rain yesterday.

Jmebear does a lot of vaccu-seal packages too.  Some for the freezer some are for dehydrated veggies.  We opened a bag of rice on Thursday (store packaging) and found it full of bugs.  There were about twenty bags of rice in that case and all were full of bugs.  Very disappointing.

Horse trailer pickup put off till Tuesday afternoon.

I do hope and pray everyone had a merry Christmas and all is well.  Eleven days till E.O. Christmas. Today is two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. (LOL)
