Been hectic here. Two and a half weeks ago Cal had a CT scan of his digestive system...NO ONE in the medical field followed through. Yesterday, after 40 minutes on the phone with a very concerned nurse I was told to take him to the local ER and she sent over the info. Lo and behold, the reason he can not keep any food down is he has a blockage! The PA was concerned...then there seems to be heart issues also. She had more tests done and had him shipped by ambulance to a Syracuse hospital that treats both cancer and heart issues. She insisted he go by ambulance. They started testing on him as soon as he got there and tested until after 9pm. More tests this morning. Restricted visitation so I have to call before going up...scary stuff.
He had the original CT done because I got him in with the dr. because he was rapidly loosing weight and had almost no desire to eat.....so glad the test was done but certainly wish they had followed through and gotten him help sooner.
On a good note, had Whisper trimmed by two race track blacksmiths and she not only is traveling better she is moving forward even better than her usual self...she is a forward mover but never on the bit.
