Rain started here yesterday.
A "Blue Norther" came in about 1pm.
Impressive blue wall of clouds, north wind and a temperature drop of 30 degrees.

The horses decided to ride it out in the pasture.
I think they knew they would have a lock down of several days with the coming rain.
They came in just before the rain started at about 4pm.
I got them all fed, hayed and sheeted.

It rained of and on all night.
I know because I was up most of the night.
My hip was cramping, don't know why.
So far 2-1/2 inches and more rain forecast through 7 pm tonight.
I think sheets will stay on until bed check tonight.

My sis manages curbside at Wmart.
Those poor employees have been working twelve hour shifts at a dead run since this all started.
I am cooking some meals to at least help her out.

I have another friend who has been sewing face masks nonstop also.
I am providing her with all the materials she can use.
Today is clean up and arrange sewing room so she can come shop if she needs a break.
Maybe a bit of laundry.

I am glad Stude's water project is done. Nothing worse than digging up busted water pipe?

Whisper thriving is excellent news.
All of mine have been switched to alfalfa pellets and doing well.
Now if I can keep Butthead from eating too many acorns!
I am hoping all the rain makes them less palatable.

Everyone be well and have a nice weekend!
