Went for the Senior Commodities today. Waited several hours in the rain. Awful morning, this one. However great loot to be had.
Normally the line is a few hundred feet long. today I would estimate it at around fifteen hundred feet! It has been growing longer every month since September. A sad commentary on California. Poverty and hopelessness have heavily tarnished the 'Golden State.
I so wish it were possible for me to defect from Soviet California. Our Attorney General is using deception and downright chicanery in an attempt to sucker the general public into repealing Prop. 13 (limitations and controls on property taxes). As corrupted as our electoral system is, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it passes.
Ah, don't listen to me. It must be the drip, drip, drip, of the rain off the eves of the house. Only rain doesn't normally depress me.
