A total of 1-1/2 inches of rain.
We are ecstatic to get it.
Last year we only had a total of 14 inches.
We need to burn some brush while it is still wet.
Horses have been in since Thursday.
I mostly use the hay nets when it is wet.
But since hay is at a premium I have been using them more.
Time to order some replacements.
I also have a round bale net. Handy for managing rounds but all the rounds we got weren't great this year.
I have one 2nd cutting round left that I will keep for emergency. The rest are going to go for cows.
Also a couple large nets. One for whole squares and one thats large enough to fit over a core of a round.
We haven't had a good hay year in a long time.
