Yesterday was windy and cold but Amy and I managed a good ride.
She wavered on cancelling but she missed last week and yesterday was the only day she had available this week.
The new farrier was great. He made time to do everyone and he was very fast.
He has one other horse he does in this vicinity so we should be able work out a schedule.
I had him pull Tonto's shoes. He is in the round pen or with me on lead.
He seems okay, maybe a touch tender.
So Jet is the only one with shoes, just fronts. I would pull his also but he is being used too much to transition to barefoot.
In hindsight I should of pulled them last year when he was off.
