Cooler here yesterday and today., blessed relief. Went to the thrift shop today and got a new to me skirt for Church tomorrow and some tops...$3/ grocery bag...can't beat that for a deal. The town where the shop is had garage sale weekends and did a little garage sale shopping . Got a great suitcase, only been used once and it is one with wheels and easy to move about. $5 seemed reasonable to me and it is purple. Next time I go on vacation I will have something decent to pack my duds in.
The horses seem to have weathered the heat. Whisper may have lost a little weight but working on that...the fact that neither wants to go to pasture does not help. A guy supposed to come this week to mow it...maybe then they will like it. Now that it is cooling down I really need to get my paddock so I can use it. I want to ride Bella there before we head out into the wide open spaces
